HCSO Deputies Arrest Four In Mobile Phone Store Robberies

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested four individuals in connection with a string of mobile phone robberies.

“Shortly before noon on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, deputies responded to an armed robbery in progress at the AT&T store located at 7025 E. FM 1960,” added officials. “The suspects, armed and with their faces covered, stole several mobile phones from the business and fled in a vehicle.”

One of the phones stolen was equipped with a GPS tracking device. Deputies tracked the suspects to an apartment complex located on Bellows Falls. It was then that four individuals were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. “Stolen merchandise, firearms, and clothing worn in the robbery were all recovered inside their vehicle,” added officials with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. “Investigators are working to determine if these suspects are responsible for other similar robberies in the county.”

The four individuals have been identified as the following:

Donte Valentine, 19
Jakelvin Gilliam, 20
Jeremy Gibson, 18
Johnnie Isabelle, 18
