HOUSTON (CBS Houston)  According to reports, a teen  found his brother and his  father’s girlfriend fatally shot on Monday. He also found his father critically injured. Each of the discoveries was made inside of a  southwest Houston house, authorities stated.

The 14-year-old boy came home around 7 p.m. and found the three inside of a home located on Westwick. Authorities believe that all three individuals were brought upstairs and each individual was shot at least once in the head.

The teen’s 10-year-old brother and his father’s girlfriend were found  lying next to each other in one of the bedrooms of the house. The teenager ran to his uncle’s home to call police.

Eyewitness accounts indicated that two suspicious looking men were standing by the home around the time the gunshots were heard. Upon arrival,  authorities found that the garage doors of the home were open.

Police continue their investigation of the shooting.

On Tuesday, Houston police released the identities of the two shooting victims. The pair was found Monday after their bodies were discovered by a teen.

“Two victims, Le ‘Lena’ Nguyen, 29, and Brandon Vu, 10, were pronounced dead at the scene,” stated authorities. “A third victim, Hoai Tranh Vu, 40, of the above address, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division authorities provided additional information: “Ms. Nguyen, Mr. Vu and Brandon Vu were found inside their residence. All had suffered gunshot wounds to the head. According to witnesses, two unknown male suspects were seen leaving the residence in a hurry in a gray pasenger car of unknown make or model. The suspects are described only as black males. The motive in this shooting incident is believed to be drug-related.”

Anyone with information in this case is being asked to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
