HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Houston firefighters fought a three-alarm fire at an apartment complex located in southwest Houston early Friday.

According to reports, the blaze began around 3:30 a.m. at the Fairmont Luxury Apartments on Hillcroft Avenue and Rowan Lane.

Upon an initial search, crews stated that they found no one inside the complex. With authorities determining that the building was no longer inhabitable, over a dozen families are now displaced.
