Cool Temperatures, Wind Advisory For Start Of Weekend

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Howling winds and cold temperatures could be heard and felt in the early morning hours of Friday as Houston area meteorologists helped to brace residents for a cold start to the weekend.
Sweaters, coats and layered clothing once again made an appearance as temperatures plummeted into the upper 40s Friday morning. Forecasters also stated that a record low may be on tap as well.
While Friday is expected to remain a chilly day,sunny skies were expected for Friday afternoon and a below average high of near 60 would hover.
Despite the chills and winds, meteorologists called for a weekend filled with sunshine.
