HOUSTON (CBS Houston) - The 2013 draft class of Houston Texan rookies will get a chance to showcase their skills to coaches May 10-12 during the team’s rookie mini-camp.  The rookie mini-camp allows players to get an early start on organized team activities (OTAs) and for the teams to host players for tryouts.

Participants in rookie mini-camp include the 9 players drafted, 24 undrafted free agents (UDFAs), plus an undisclosed group of players invited by the Texans.  As per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, first-year players who signed an NFL player contract but have not accumulated a season of pension credit are also eligible.
