Employee Shot Outside Nightclub

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) An employee was shot outside an after hours club located in southwest Houston in the early morning hours of Friday.
The shooting took place outside of “Dreams” nightclub located on Crossview Drive near Westhiemer Road. Officials were called out to the club around 4 a.m.
According to Houston Police, the victim was shot by his childhood friend after he slapped the suspect’s son over two weeks ago. That suspect sought revenge on his childhood friend.
The two men were walking out of “Dreams” and were arguing. The suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim in one of his arms as well as his abdomen. The man was then taken to the hospital and was listed in critical condition.
The alleged gunman was arrested with charges pending in the case.
Police found casings in front of the nightclub and bullet holes were found in the front door of the building. As authorities investigate the shooting, they will also comb through surveillance video footage for additional information and clues.
