HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Police continue to search for clues after a deadly shooting that took place in north Harris County.

Two people were found shot to death in an apartment on Greens Parkway and a third person was wounded; that individual was rushed to a hospital and listed in critical condition. Authorities also found a five-month-old girl alive under a bed.

Reports indicate that a co-worker stopped by Wednesday evening, just before 5:00 p.m., concerned when the man who lives at the apartment didn’t show up for work. Upon his arrival at the apartment, officials state that the co-worker heard a baby crying and saw blood on the wall.

Authorities then found a deceased male lying on the floor, a deceased female lying on the bed, and a critically injured male in the corner of the bedroom. It appeared that the trio suffered gun shots to the head.

A five-month-old baby girl who was under the bed at the time, was intentionally placed there. She was not injured.

As officials work to piece together details of the ordeal, they say that there are no suspects, motives or signs of forced entry. Anyone with information that can help authorities in their investigation is asked to call police.
