Is our Senate truly broken?

After about 90% of the American people advocated a simple gun bill to secure gun safety in expanding stricter background checks for the purchase of guns, the Senate folds and rejects the bill.

Not thrilled with the Senates’ decision, President Obama wants to make it clear to the American people that we still can bring change to reduce gun violence.

“This was a pretty shameful day for Washington…Sooner or later, we are going to get this right. The memories of these children demand it; and so do the American people.”

Senators like Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Mark Pryor of Arizona that ruled against gun control reform, has been called out by Hollywood celebrities and many others.
