HOUSTON (CBS Houston) The Phoenix Suns brought their power and tenacity Monday night to snap a win over the Houston Rockets in Phoenix.

Despite a great display of strength and drive from the Houston Rockets, it wasn’t enough to win. Luis Scola had 26 points and 15 rebounds while Goran Dragic added 21 points and 14 assists.

The Houston Rockets’ Twitter account called Monday night’s loss “disappointing”:

The account also tallied up playoff standings:

As Phoenix snapped a franchise-record seven-game home losing streak with a 119-112 victory over the Houston Rockets, the win came as the Suns closed out their home games for the season.

Markieff Morris who had 20 points during the game, also had a career highs of six blocked shots and five steals for the Suns. Even with Monday’s win, the Suns finished with the second-worst home record in Phoenix Suns’ club history.

Carlos Delfino scored 22 points while Jeremy Lin added 20 for the Rockets.

Monday’s loss in Phoenix translates into a setback in their quest for the No. 6 playoff spot in the West. James Harden added 15 points during Monday night’s game.
