Houston-Area High School Evacuated After Bomb Threat

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) – Less than 24 hours after two bombs interrupted the festivities surrounding the Boston Marathon, killed three people and severely injured several more, Houston Independent School District officials say a bomb threat has been made Tuesday morning against Westbury High School, which is situated in Southwest Houston.

The school was evacuated, and students returned to their classrooms shortly after the campus was cleaered. School district officials have not released any other information, including how or when the threat was issued, according to a story by KPRC.

According to parents, there have been six bomb threats at the school in the past two weeks.
