HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura have now become grandparents.
Their twin daughter Jenna Bush Hager gave birth to her first child, a daughter, on Saturday in New York City.

The former president made the announcement of this birth on Sunday. Hager who is a correspondent on the “Today” show named the baby Margaret Laura “Mila” Hager, a name that was formulated from her grandmother’s names. Jenna Bush Hager is married to Henry Hager.

Bush, the new grandfather, wrote of his elation with now being a grandfather: “We met our beautiful granddaughter today. Jenna and Mila are healthy. And our family is elated.”

Jenna Bush Hager is the younger of the fraternal twin daughters of the 43rd U.S. President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush. She is also granddaughter of the 41st U.S. President George H. W. Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush. She and her sister Barbara were the first twin children of a U.S. president
