Surveillance Video Of Wanted Suspect In A Houston Robbery

Houston police has release the surveillance video of a wanted suspect in a robbery at 10900 Richmond Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 180 pounds and 5 feet 11 inches. He appeared to be wearing a blue t-shirt and blue jeans. He was likely last seen in an older model gold or tan Honda Odyssey van or Mazda MVP.

At about 1 p.m., on March 15, a female victim went to the Bank of America at 11288 Westheimer to make an errand stop and noticed a gold/tan minivan suspiciously driving around the bank parking lot.

The victim drove to her job, the Indonesia Consulate at 10900 Richmond Avenue, and entered the controlled access gate to the parking lot. As she got out of her car, the suspect rush up to her, snatching her purse and an envelope consisting of her bank withdrawal from her hands. The suspect then ran on foot through the parking lot, out of the gate and to the tan/gold minivan parked on Walnut Bend near Richmond.  The victim says it was the same minivan that she’d seen driving through the bank parking lot.

The police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
