HOUSTON (CBS Houston) A female teacher’s aide has been accused of Katherine Alana Gricar.
Katherine Alana Gricar, 24, a former Spring Independent School District teacher’s aide, has been charged with having an improper relationship with a student.
Harris County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at an 18-year-old girl’s home on March 18, due to the teen arguing with her mother. The teen, a home-bound student enrolled at Spring High School, was not happy at home and wanted to move out and live with Gricar.
The teen’s mother told the deputy that she suspected that her daughter was having an inappropriate relationship with Gricar; Graciar confirmed that she and the teen did engage in appropriate behavior and that she wanted to have a relationship with the teenager.
Additional reports indicate that Gricar admitted to going to the teen’s home in February, picking the teen up and taking the 18-year-old to her home to have sex.
Further reports state that the student’s mother had discovered that Graciar and her daughter had kissed; the two were allegedly alone, locked in her daughter’s bedroom.
Gricar who resigned from her position with Spring ISD on March 19th, was arrested and later released on a $30,000 bond.
