HOUSTON (CBS Houston) HCSO deputies arrested three men after they allegedly broke into a building in north Harris County Monday night and tried to steal copper wire.
According to officials, the crime took place around 11:30 p.m. Deputies responded to a building at 2222 W. FM 1960.

“A CenterPoint employee had been at the location checking electrical boxes and power connections when he noticed they had been tampered with and heard noises coming from inside the building, added authorities with the HCSO. “When deputies arrived they too heard noises coming from inside and moments later saw several suspects trying to flee. One of the suspects was arrested at the location. Two others fled on foot but were quickly apprehended.”
The trio of men who were identified as David Penate, Dimas Alvarenga-Quintanilla and Jeronimo Avelar-Dubon, has been charged with evading arrest and burglary of a building.
