Amber Alert Issued For Baby

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) An Amber Alert has been issued for a four-month-old baby. The baby was allegedly abducted by her mom’s boyfriend.
The boyfriend has been identified as Byron Earl Gee, a convicted criminal. According to the Houston Police Department, Gee took little Stephanie Lavette Phillips from an apartment complex located on W. Bellfort around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The baby is described as an African-American female and was wearing only a white t-shirt and diaper at the time of her disappearance.
Police also stated that Gee was driving a stolen white 1999 Ford Expedition.
Gee is described as an African-American male who stands approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and was last seen wearing black pants, a black shirt and no shoes. Police said Gee is not the child’s biological father.
The SUV Gee is driving was stolen from a neighboring apartment complex with license plate number DK3N645.
Gee has been convicted of two felonies and three misdemeanors since 2001.
