HOUSTON (CBS Houston) – The Texans have been relatively quiet since NFL free agency began on Tuesday. But they’re bringing a Super Bowl winner to Houston this week.
Long-time Ravens safety Ed Reed will visit with the Texans on Thursday at team facilities.
Reed, who was selected by the Ravens in the first round in 2002, has been named an AP All-Pro eight times, to the Pro Bowl nine times and the 2004 Defensive Player of the Year.
NFL.com says Ed Reed flew to Houston on team owner Bob McNair’s private jet for his visit.
