HOUSTON (CBS Houston) An Amber Alert which was issued for two young children Thursday was cancelled Friday. The toddlers were suspected of being abducted by their grandmother but were found in Texas Friday afternoon.

According to the Houston County sheriff’s deputies, they believed that Jordan Malik Simpson, 1, and Nevaen Kimora Simpson, 2, were kidnapped by their maternal grandmother, Bonnie Benton Miller. The mother of the toddlers recently passed away. Their father was given sole custody of them, but Miller refused to return children after spending time with them.

Authorities revealed that Miller took off with the children and as a result, felony kidnapping warrants were issued for her arrest.

Additional reports indicate that Miller and the children were found in Fort Worth about 3 p.m. on Friday. Miller’s car was spotted by police and the three were found inside of a home.

The children were not harmed or injured while they were allegedly kidnapped. As the the children’s father made plans to go to Fort Worth to retrieve his children, Miller was taken into custody.
