HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Two northeast Harris County schools were locked down on Thursday while officials searched for suspects.
Huffman Middle School and Hargrave High School were both on lock down as a precaution Thursday morning. Just before 11 a.m., Harris County Sheriff’s deputies say they briefly chased several suspects in a vehicle off of FM 2100.
According to Harris County officials, the chase began as a routine traffic stop; however, the suspects fled, driving through a pasture before they were caught by deputies.
Additional reports indicate that one of the suspects said he fled due to a warrant out for his arrest. There were no injuries reported during the lock down.
