HOUSTON (CBS Houston) A school district increased security Friday after a threat of a mass shooting was made on a blog.

According to Humble Independent School District officials,  a rumor posted on a personal blog threatened a mass hooting at a gas station in Kingwood on Friday.

Although authorities stated that the blog posting did not mention any schools, officers increased their presence at area schools as a precaution. An additional precaution included  Humble Schools moving outdoor physical education classes, to indoor facilities.

School district officials emphasized that the threat was not made against any Humble ISD campuses. Authorities continue their investigation in the case.
