HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Police are investigating a drive-by shooting incident on a Houston freeway after two people were shot as they were driving.

According to reports, Police responded to a call on Arlington near the Katy Freeway just west of downtown Houston at around 2:30 Friday morning. The two men inside had pulled over on the freeway and called for assistance.

According to the two men, they had just left a club where they had a disagreement with someone. They left the club and proceeded down Katy freeway when they say another car pulled up and someone fired two shotgun blasts into the side of their car. After the gunshots were fired, the car sped off.

The two men were taken to a Houston area hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries. Officers towed the car that was damaged due to the gunshots.

Officials also stated that they will be interviewing the two victims to gather more information about the disagreement they had with the other party and to gather more information about who possibly fired shots into their car.
