HOUSTON (CBS Houston) On Tuesday, HISD police officers arrested a man suspected of enticing a child and unlawful restraint at Austin High School on February 4, 2013.

The arrest comes upon the heels of Crime Stoppers publicizing HISD campus security camera footage of the suspect.

“Tips from the public led police to the suspect, 34-year-old Everardo Martinez Jr.,” officials with HISD stated. “HISD police arrested Martinez today[Tuesday], and he will face charges of enticing a child and unlawful restraint.”

Additional information from HISD indicates that Austin High School administrators will continue to enforce the added security measures ensuring the safety of all the students at the school.
