MIDLOTHIAN, Texas (AP) — Funeral is planned in the small North Texas hometown of one of two men gunned down at a North Texas shooting range.

Services for Chad Littlefield are Friday at the First Baptist Church in Midlothian, 25 miles southwest of Dallas.

The 35-year-old Littlefield was with 38-year-old Chris Kyle at a rural range Feb. 2 when they were shot multiple times. Investigators say the pair had taken Eddie Ray Routh there to provide support for the ex-Marine.

The 25-year-old Routh is charged with capital murder and two murder counts. Authorities say he has a history of threatening behavior.

Kyle was a former Navy SEAL and author of the best-selling book “American Sniper.” A memorial service for him is scheduled Monday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
