HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Five people were sent to the hospital after a collision involving a Harris County deputy car and a church van. The accident happened Wednesday evening just before 8 p.m. on Navigation Boulevard near North Milby.

Among those injured were a pastor as well as two deputies. Reports indicate that two deputies were on their way to a disturbance call when a church van pulled out in front of them; it was then that the deputy car collided with the church van.

Although both deputies as well as the van’s driver, a church pastor, the pastor’s wife and another church member were all taken to the hospital, none of their injures were considered life-threatening.

Officials continue to investigate the accident.
