BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 13-year-old student for making prank phone calls to Westdale Middle School twice this week.

Deputies say the 8th grade student was booked with terrorizing.

Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks says the student, who was at home for suspension, allegedly called the school on Monday stating that he was the Assistant Principal and there was a student at the school with a knife.

She says the student allegedly contacted the school Tuesday and stated that he was a student in the bathroom with a gun.
