HOUSTON (CBS Houston) The Houston Police Department is looking for a robbery suspect, believed to be responsible for several robberies at Houston area convenience stores.

Investigators in the Houston Police Department Robbery Division released surveillance video of the suspect who is wanted for at least five robberies of convenience stores in northwest Houston since November.

“The suspect is described only as a black male between 18 and 45 years of age,” added officials with HPD.

According to officials with HPD, the suspect is wanted for robberies at the following locations:

1. Nov. 20, 2012 at 10:50 p.m. – M & M Food Mart – 8788 Hammerly
2. Nov. 27, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. – 99 and More Store – 8788 Hammerly#G
3. Nov. 29, 2012 at 8:15 p.m. – M & M Convenience Store – 8788 Hammerly
4. Dec. 3, 2012 at 12:35 p.m. – Blalock Food Mart – 3102 Blalock
5. Dec. 20, 2012 at 11:05 a.m. – Blalock Food Mart – 3102 Blalock

“In each incident, the suspect entered the convenience store and, at gunpoint, demanded money from a store employee.The suspect then took the money from the register and fled the scene on foot,” added HPD.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this wanted suspect is urged to contact the HPD Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
