Man Shot Eight Times During Brawl

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) A man was shot eight times Monday evening in southeast Houston and police are searching for the suspect who shot him.
According to reports, the incident happened around 11 p.m. Monday on Foster near Yellowstone. According to police, three men and a woman were all in a car together, with the shooting victim driving the car. The group in the vehicle decided to meet up with another group of people at a vacant home.
A fight broke out between a male passenger and the driver and the passenger began yelling at the driver.
A gun was then pulled during the altercation and those individuals who were in the car suddenly got out of the car. Additional reports indicate that the victim was hit in the chest, legs and chin. He was then chased down Foster Street as the gunman continued shooting at him. He then collapsed on the side of the road, according to the Houston Police Department.
The victim who was shot a reported eight times, was taken to Ben Taub Hospital and was listed in critical condition. Police continue to investigate the crime. The victim’s name was not released at the time of this report.
