HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a bank robber who robbed the Chase Bank located inside the Fiesta Grocery Store located on Bellaire Boulevard Saturday.
The FBI Houston provides details of Saturday’s robbery: “At about 3:33 p.m., the man entered the bank and handed a teller a threatening note demanding money. The teller complied and provided the robber some cash. He walked out the side exit door of the Fiesta grocery store and exited the area. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.”
Authorities are describing this man as a black male, in his mid twenties, who sported a plaid shirt and a straw sun hat during the robbery.
“Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this robber, or any felony suspect. If you have information about this crime, please call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 713-222-TIPS (8477), or the Houston office of the FBI at 713-693-5000,” added officials with the FBI-Houston.
