Elementary School Student Threatens To Bring Gun To School

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) A Pearland elementary school student is accused of threatening to bring a gun to school because he reportedly had a “bad day”.

According to reports, Pearland police said a student hearing a sixth-grade classmate say that he had a “bad day” at Rogers Middle School located on Manvel, on Wednesday and that he was planning on bringing a gun to school on Thursday. Officials spoke with witnesses who confirmed that the threat was made by the student.

As a result of the treat, the 11-year-old student was then taken into custody by police and charged with a terroristic threat. He was later taken to the Brazoria County Juvenile Detention Facility.
