HOUSTON (CBS Houston) According to officials with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, two suspects have been arrested in connection with a murder that took place in 2010.

On Tuesday, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division obtained information regarding the murder of Armando Sierra Castro which occurred back in October of 2012.

After extensive questioning with Anthony Aaron Alegria and Julian Thomas Valdez, both defendants confessed to their involvement in the robbery and murder of Castro.

As a result of their confessions, capital murder charges were filed on both suspects.

Valdez, 18 and Alegria, 19, were arrested and placed in the Harris County Jail.
