HOUSTON (AP) — Houston police say a landlord has been found beaten to death in a vacant rental home and his car is missing.

Police on Wednesday identified the victim as 62-year-old Ali Dehghani of Houston.

Dehghani’s body was discovered Tuesday morning in one of his rental houses by family members who began searching when he didn’t come home after work Monday. Relatives also filed a missing person report on Dehghani, who had been doing maintenance at some of his properties.

Authorities are looking for Dehghani’s stolen vehicle — a silver 2006 Honda Accord with Texas license plates THD-306.

Police have no known witnesses or suspects at this time.
