HOUSTON (CBS Houston) – While the Bears are amidst a coaching search after firing Lovey Smith, the Texans are enjoying a playoff victory against the Bengals. And Chicago has its eye on Houston’s offensive coordinator Rick Dennison.
The Texans have given Chicago permission to interview Dennison for their vacant head coaching job, according to a report by SportsRadio 610′s John McClain.
This news comes the day after Dennison helped the Texans to a 19-13 wild-card playoff victory.
Dennison has been with the Texans for the last three seasons, during which he was a part of the organization’s only two postseasons.
