Authorities Seek Public’s Help In Apprehending Bank Robber
HOUSTON (CBS Houston) The FBI is seeking the public’s help in apprehending a man responsible for the armed robbery of a Houston Chase Bank branch on Wednesday.
The robbery happened happened at the Chase Bank located on Yale Street in Houston.
The FBI provides additional details of Wednesday’s robbery: “At about 2:28 p.m., the robber entered the bank alone, pulled out a black semi-automatic pistol and handed the teller a demand note. The teller gave the man some cash. He exited the bank and was last seen heading south from the bank on foot. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.”
The FBI described the armed robber as a white male,who stands approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing between 175 – 200 pounds. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a gray jacket, dark pants, and a black ball cap with a yellow emblem.
Anyone with information about Wednesday’s robbery is being asked to call Crime Stoppers of Houston. The FBI reminds tipsters that they could potentially earn up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this suspect.
