HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Authorities are investigating a shooting incident involving a Harris County Reserve Deputy. The shooting happened just before 7 p.m. Tuesday on Goforth and Balkin Street.

Additional reports indicate that the deputy and his wife were having an argument. It was then that the deputy’s brother-in-law allegedly slapped him. Then, the deputy pulled out his gun and fired a shot.

After a bullet hit deputy in the arm, he was then transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The identity of the reserve deputy was not released at the time of this report.
