HOUSTON (CBS Houston) A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for an 11-month-old boy out of San Antonio who was abducted by his father. The alert was issued Tuesday afternoon.

San Antonio police are searching for 11-month-old Jonathan Jose Guillen Jr. He is a Hispanic male who stands about 2 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 25 pounds. He is also described as having brown hair, hazel eyes and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a red hooded sweatshirt.

The boy’s father, Jonathan Guillen Sr., is described as a male who stands approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall. He is also described as having brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white muscle T-shirt with shorts.

Reports indicate that the baby was taken after his father killed his mother’s estranged boyfriend last Thursday. Guillen is believed to be driving a black 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer with Texas plate 7CZTJ. Law enforcement officials believe the baby is in grave and immediate danger.

Anyone who spots Guillen is being urged to call 911 immediately.
