Report: Connecticut School Shooting Suspect Had Ties To School

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) According to a law enforcement official, the suspect who went on a shooting rampage at a Connecticut elementary school Friday had ties to the school.

Reports indicate that the 20-year-old man gun used a .223-caliber rifle during the mass shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School Friday morning.

The official also said that New Jersey state police are searching a location in that state for possible connections with the shootings. The mass shootings left 26 dead, including 18 children.

CBS News confirmed that a second body was found at the home of the suspect.
