HOUSTON (CBS Houston) On Tuesday afternoon, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office released images of persons of interest in a nightclub shooting investigation. Authorities also released a photograph of the man who was shot and killed outside of the nightclub.

On December 9, the victim, Timothy Powell, was shot and killed outside Club La Cave located on West FM 1960, just before 5 a.m.

“A fight occurred between two groups of males and Powell, who was not a participant in the altercation, was shot and killed,” added officials with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

As investigators comb through surveillance footage from the morning of the shooting, they are asking anyone with information about the crime to contact officials at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers of Houston at (713) 222-TIPS (8477).

HCSO reminds the public that tipsters can remain anonymous and should they offer information to authorities through the Crime Stoppers tip line, they could be eligible for a cash reward that totals $5,000. “Tips can also be sent by text message. Text TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES (274637),” added the HCSO.
