HOUSTON (CBS Houston) A student at Spring Woods High School  fired a gun inside a classroom. According to initial reports, the student was showing a 380-calibur handgun to classmates when it fired Monday.

According to officials, the bullet penetrated a wall; an instructor as well as 25 students were in the classroom at the time. No injuries were reported.

The freshman student was arrested by Spring Branch ISD police and taken into custody; he faces a charge of possession of a handgun on school grounds.
