HOUSTON (CBS Houston) An elderly man who was reported missing earlier this week was found safely.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, 70-year-old Wilbert Cooper was located at just after 4 a.m. Friday morning by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies at a rest Area check on FM 830.

Cooper was last seen leaving his residence Wednesday morning, driving a green pickup truck.
No other information was released.
