HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Authorities are trying to figure out why a woman was forced to dodge bullets as she drove her car in Houston early Tuesday. The woman drove her Honda sedan near T.C. Jester Boulevard and the North Loop around 1:00 a.m. Tuesday when someone drove up behind her and began shooting at her car.
Although she managed to escape from the shooter by speeding off, she was forced to stop at a Krogers along the Southwest Freeway at Buffalo Speedway, due to a flat tire. Reports indicate that approximately four shots were fired at the woman’s car. As police investigate the incident, they believed robbery to be a possible motive for the shooting.
Additional reports state that police are gathering surveillance video as well as other evidence that will lead them to suspects. The car the suspects was driving is being described as a deep red Lincoln or Cadillac four-door sedan. No other information was released.
