President George H.W. Bush Remains In Stable Condition At Houston Hospital
HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Former President George H.W. Bush remains in a Houston hospital where he’s spent several days for treatment of a cough related to bronchitis.
According to George Kovacik, spokesperson with Methodist Hospital, Bush is listed in stable condition The 41st president was to be discharged over the weekend. Bush, 88, who also suffers from Parkinson’s disease had been in and out of the hospital for bronchitis-related illnesses. His current lingering cough has forced medical professionals to keep the former President of the United States in the hospital.
Bush’s hospital visitors have included his son, former President George W. Bush, and his wife, former first lady Laura Bush, who live in Dallas. No word was released as to when Bush will be discharged from the hospital.
