HOUSTON (CBS Houston) One suspect was apprehended and three others fled on foot early morning chase in Houston Monday.

The Houston Police Department stated that the chase began just after midnight Sunday after an officer attempted to pull over a car for a traffic violation. The driver then led police on a five-minute chase to the Timber Ridge Apartments on Aero Park at Crosswinds.

The four men who were in the car jumped out and then ran on foot. One was captured immediately while the three other men were still at-large several hours later. It is believed that the four were involved in a nearby robbery.A description of the suspects who fled on foot was not available at the time of this report. Additional reports indicate that the men threw weapons out of the vehicle they were in.
