OKLAHOMA CITY (CBS Houston) – After breaking into a house, a suspected burglar left with more than he anticipated – including two black eyes.

Oklahoma City police arrested 19-year-old Jonathan Wise for burglary. When he was arrested, he reportedly had two black eyes, and was in need of stitches.

The trouble began when homeowner Norm Houston found Wise in his garage, KFOR-TV is reporting.

“I heard a thumbing noise on my garage door,” Houston told the station. “I swung open my backdoor and somebody was standing there.”

Police told the station that he then attacked Houston.

“The burglar started out by apologizing to him for getting into the garage and said he had fixed the damage, only to follow that up by punching him in the face,” police master Sgt. Gary Knight told KFOR.

Houston works as a personal trainer and specializes in boxing and kickboxing. Although he did not throw the first punch, Houston was able to overpower Wise.

“You know I ain’t the toughest, but I can hold my own,” Houston told the station.

Wise was reportedly taken to the hospital for treatment before he was taken to jail.
