HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Former United States President George H. W. Bush was admitted to Methodist Hospital for treatment of bronchitis.
Although additional reports indicate that President Bush has been cured of the bronchitis after a six-day hospital stay, he is still being treated for what is being described as a “lingering cough.”
President Bush, 88, is expected to be discharged from the hospital by the weekend.
He served as the 41st President of the United States and is the oldest living former president and a World War II veteran.
