HOUSTON (CBS Houston) This week marked the 18th anniversary of the murder of a man in north Harris County and upon the heels of that anniversary, Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigators inside the Cold Case Unit are hoping the public can provide information that can help solve the case.

Jack Pierce’s body was found behind a restaurant located on West FM 1960 in north Harris County. The HCSO indicates that Pierce had been stabbed multiple times. It is believed that he may have been stabbed nearby before driving himself in a 1985 GMC pickup truck to the location where he was found. Pierce, 39-years-old at the time, was discovered on November 25, 1994.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about the murder of Jack Pierce to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Unit at 713-967-5911 or Crime Stoppers of Houston at (713) 222-TIPS (8477). The HCSO also reminds the public that tipsters could be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to information about this case. Tipsters can also text TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES (274637).
