HOUSTON (CBS Houston) The FBI Houston is seeking the public’s help in identifying a bank robber who verbally threatened tellers during a bank robbery inside a Walmart Tuesday afternoon.
The FBI Houston stated that the robbery happened at the Woodforest National Bank located inside the Walmart at 14215 FM 2100 in Crosby.
The FBI Houston provides details of Tuesday’s robbery: “At about 9:30 a.m., the man walked into the bank, verbally threatened tellers and demanded cash. After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the bank robber fled the store and the area. No one was physically hurt during the robbery. The bank robber is described as a black male, 25 – 30 years old, weighing 180 – 190 pounds with a medium build. He wore a grey ‘hoodie’, grey sweat pants, and a black baseball cap.
Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the FBI Houston division or call Crime Stoppers. The FBI Houston reminds the public that tipsters who provide information leading to the capture and arrest of the bank robbery suspect could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000.
