Four Die In SUV Accident; Toddler, Man Hospitalized

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) According to investigators, four people have been killed and four hurt in an SUV rollover in South Texas. The Department of Public Safety stated that the accident happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday approximately 10 miles north of Raymondville on southbound U.S. 77.

Authorities stated that as the SUV went off the road, the driver over-corrected and the vehicle rolled several times. The four people who died in the accident were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the truck.

Thirty-year-old Patricia Castro of Mercedes, 35-year-old Jason Anthony Mayhood of Brownsville, Enrique Rodriguez of Edcouch, 20 and 47-year-old Sanricardo Ramirez of Harlingen were all killed in the accident.

Additional reports indicate that a 3-year-old girl and a man were hospitalized. The driver and another man were treated and released from an area hospital.
