Texans running back Ben Tate has been suffering a hamstring injury and will not play on Sunday when the team faces the Bears in Chicago on Sunday Night Football. Tate suffered the injury during the Week 7 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Nose tackle Shaun Cody has been dealing with back issues all season and additionally suffered an injury to his ribs last Sunday during the Texans victory over the Buffalo Bills. He will not play on Sunday.

Earl Mitchell will start in his place.

Tight end Owen Daniels has been limited in practice because of a hip injury and will be a game-time decision on Sunday.
