NAPOLEONVILLE, La. (AP) — Assumption Parish sheriff’s deputies say an 11-year-old boy has been charged with making a false bomb threat to a pharmacy.
The Advocate (http://bit.ly/YkG89S ) says the pharmacy and a neighboring business were evacuated for about an hour.
Authorities traced the call made to Assumption Pharmacy at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday after a store employee preserved the phone number on the caller identification system.
The boy was in custody Friday at the St. James Youth Detention Center near Donaldsonville. A hearing on his detention is scheduled early next week.
