If you plan on discussing your political views or anything concerning “Bronco Bamma” or Mitt Romney with four-year-old Abigael Evans, don’t. You are being given fair warning.
Evans, who is perhaps as politically astute as you or I, is just a bit tired of this year’s elections and would like for her programming to prevail instead of the seemingly on-going coverage of aspects of voting, candidate thoughts or political analysis.
When it comes to the presidential candidates, “Bronco Obama” and Mitt Romney, she does not want to hear it.
It appearers as if National Public Radio aired a story about “Bronco Obama” and Mitt Romney while her mother had her in the car. She heard the story and just could not hold back tears about her discord with the story. Her mom then got out a recording device that captured Abigael tearfully requesting no more election coverage.
NPR issued a statement of apology to the young girl:
“On behalf of NPR and all other news outlets, we apologize to Abigael and all the many others who probably feel like her. We must confess, the campaign’s gone on long enough for us, too. Let’s just keep telling ourselves: “Only a few more days, only a few more days, only a few more days.”
Trust me Abigael.. you had the courage to do what many of us are doing behind closed doors.
Election coverage is enough to bring many of us to tears… correct? Check out little Abigael below…fed up.
