AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A former Central Texas school band leader admits he shared sexually explicit images of a 13-year-old girl he got over the Internet.

Robert Ramos Jr. of Austin pleaded guilty Wednesday to producing and distributing child porn and could be sentenced to 15 to 50 years in federal prison.

The 33-year-old ex-assistant band director at Dessau Middle School in Pflugerville admits obtaining the girl’s images by masquerading on Facebook as a teenage girl. He shared them with upstate New York teacher Timothy Bek now serving a 30-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to child porn charges.

Ramos also said he recorded streaming video of a New Jersey woman sexually abusing a 5-year-old girl. Jennifer Mahoney awaits sentencing for sexually exploiting a child and could get 15 to 30 years in prison.
